Synopsis

Following the events of The Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka The Penguin, is playing a game to take control of Gotham’s criminal underworld. took shape during the making of „The Penguin.” Colin Farrell fought hard to get his version of The Penguin to start smoking in Batman (2022), but it didn’t work out. In his own series, however, the character is depicted as a casual smoker who prefers cigars.

I’ve been waiting for The Penguin since it was first announced that he was coming to the series, and I can tell you that he’s exactly as good as I expected. Colin Farrell is absolutely brilliant as Oz Cobb, aka The Penguin. He was great in Batman and he’s even better in the lead role.

Here’s hoping there are more stories like this from this world

The two are fighting to find out who Gotham’s number one mobster is and „bring order to all the chaos.” Some people were worried that a supporting character like Penguin wouldn’t be able to handle the show and it wouldn’t work without Batman or Bruce Wayne, but don’t worry, because this is more than just a villain in a superhero series, it’s a great crime drama in its own right. It’s a gritty, violent crime drama that’s so much fun to watch.
