Despite other reviewers saying the show starts off slow, I disagree
It was a solid movie that just suffered because Tyler himself wasn’t really believable as someone who could lend a hand and serve up a three-part combo of con artists, criminals, and villains. I have to assume that the potential of this reboot set the stage for this series.
In the first 5 minutes, Aldis completely redefines the term “Dick” detective
Like the Jack Ryan series, this is a worthy entry into the genre, but this series isn’t quite as consistent. The stakes are higher in the later episodes, but in my opinion the show has a group, falters, and then comes back to life around episode 5.
With Jack Ryan, seasons 2 and 3 were slower and weaker, I hope this show continues to build
